Evaluation of heterogeneous mechanical tests for model calibration of sheet metals

The accuracy of strategies combining heterogeneous mechanical tests and full-field strain measurement techniques is dependent on many factors. Recently, with different specimen shapes have been proposed using optimization or empirical knowledge. However, a comparison difficult task because studies use materials representations the stress states. This work discusses metrics, calculated from tensors, to evaluate proposes metric tests’ sensitivity anisotropy. To illustrate approach, four are evaluated through suggested metrics. Results show that various metrics provides good basis tests. Moreover, this identifies test achieving high range states values equivalent plastic strain.
